Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This position requires a night shift commitment from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with a weekend rotation. As an LPN in Hall 1, a 40-45 bed subacute rehabilitation unit, you will provide individualized nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing. The role involves developing and implementing nursing care plans, attending to daily unit operations, and assuming leadership responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles and basic assessment skills to meet residents' needs.
- Assist in daily unit operations and take on leadership roles as required.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing; Practical Nursing license and AHA CPR Certification.
- Less than one year of experience required; graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Familiarity with basic computer skills and medical equipment.
