Job Description

Bakerly Barn LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical aspects of engineering projects. This role involves designing, specifying, and commissioning process equipment, providing engineering support, and overseeing deviation investigations for equipment and manufacturing processes. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure project success and company satisfaction goals are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute technical specifications provided by the Engineering Manager.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to gather quotes, discuss technical and financial aspects, and make recommendations to the Engineering Manager.
  • Manage equipment and process installations, coordinating with external contractors and internal teams.
  • Coordinate the launch of new equipment and production lines along with the maintenance and production departments.
  • Conduct training for operators and technicians, optimize processes and equipment for quality improvement, safety, and cost savings.
  • Develop and uphold quality and safety standards, provide technical guidance to staff and customers, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure industry standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Engineering & Plant Manufacturing department.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software like AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work with foreign suppliers, strong interpersonal and communication skills, good problem-solving abilities, and a demonstration of leadership qualities.
  • Comfort working in varying conditions including temperature extremes, around machinery, and chemicals.
