Position Overview:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care for clinic patients while working within the scope of licensure. You will serve as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs. Moreover, you will perform vital tasks like taking vital signs, triaging patient calls, and supporting the clinical team.
Education:
- Graduate of a Nursing Program, required.
- Compliance with current continuing education standards mandated by State/Federal regulations, required.
License/Certifications:
- Current state LPN or CMA/RMA license, required.
- Basic Life Support certification from a College of Technology/Nursing, required.
- Compliance with continuing education standards as per State/Federal regulations, required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures, required.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology, required.
- Proficiency in Key Boarding and Basic Office Skills, required.
