Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join Bank Iowa Corporation. As the Community Bank President in Newton, you will play a crucial role in generating quality Ag and Commercial loans, representing Bank Iowa in the community, and leading a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants. This position involves actively participating in community activities to establish Bank Iowa as a center of influence, contributing to the bank's portfolio growth and community enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and champion the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, fostering strong client relationships.
- Represent the bank in the community, participating in civic and community activities to enhance visibility.
- Approve loans within specified limits and collaborate with management as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years lending and banking experience as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer.
- Strong Agriculture background preferred.
- Extensive supervisory and management experience.
