Job Description

The Server is the key Associate in delivering the Silver Diner brand to our guests. You are responsible for providing Silver Diner hospitality to our guests, generating sales, delivering food & beverage orders and properly handling POS functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest receives outstanding service including greeting every guest within 30 seconds of being seated.
• Accurately account for all guests at your tables when ringing in POS.
• Suggestively sell to every guest.
• Maintain a clean station stocked to Silver Diner standards.
• Complete all assigned side work.

Brand Delivery

• Maintain a positive, fun-oriented attitude at work.
• Strictly follow all uniform standards.
• Be on time for work and keep your station clean at all times.

Performance Measures

• Positive sales growth and guest satisfaction.
• Develop strong guest relationships.

Required Experience & Characteristics

• 1-2 years of serving experience preferred.
• Exceptional aptitude for Guest Service.
• Contagiously friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain self-composure under pressure.

Physical Requirements

Physically intense environment requiring stamina and the ability to tolerate high temperatures, carry heavy loads, and stand for extended periods. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
