Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Stock shelves, perform cleaning duties, and maintain merchandise displays
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines
- Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe handling of equipment and compliance with company policies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
- Prior retail experience preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a retail setting is advantageous
