Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively within the team and report feedback to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise and place products on shelves weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Perform various physical tasks around the store, including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a professional manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
