Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by managing merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Perform cashiering, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold document security and confidentiality.
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Engage in various physical activities within the store environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Follow company policies, provide excellent customer service, and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
