Job Description: Store Operations Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's smooth operation by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat product displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and ensure data security
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old or above
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operations
- Capable of safely operating equipment and maintaining store cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
- High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions efficiently
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales handling
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
