Job Description
Join our team as a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and customers receive exceptional service. As a Store Associate, you'll merchandise products, handle cashier duties, and maintain a clean shopping environment. Work collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies while performing daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts following guidelines and ensuring accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and other store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties and follow company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Show attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Work well independently and in a team setting.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
