Job Description
We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. This Full-Time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, receiving, and relocating stock, as well as loading and unloading merchandise in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
- Inspect product for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
- Act independently within delegated responsibilities and support warehouse goals.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures for equipment operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic abilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise and prepare products for deliveries.
- Varying physical activities in warehouse environment.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
