Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus on exceptional customer service and collaboration with the Aldi team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
