Job Description
We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team at Bermuda Commons. As an LPN, you will play a key role in providing high-quality nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in a compassionate and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties and monitor the performance of nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, and report any changes to the attending physician.
- Implement physician's orders and assist in emergencies.
- Perform additional assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as a charge nurse and provide quality nursing care to patients.
- CPR certification required.
- Participate in in-service training and staff meetings.
