Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. In this part-time weekend role (7am - 7pm), you will play a crucial role in providing quality nursing care to patients while adhering to regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality nursing care by following physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.
- Administer medications as prescribed and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control measures, and assist with research on nursing care quality.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Registered Nurse license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Provide quality care, follow doctor's orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Maintain CPR certification yearly and attend required training sessions and meetings.
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants effectively and work collaboratively with all team members and departments.
- Make critical decisions regarding nursing care with a focus on patient well-being.
