Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a Per Diem basis during evenings (3pm - 11pm). As an LPN, you will assist in directing nursing services, delegate duties, observe patients for symptoms, and provide quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to professional and non-professional nursing personnel, monitoring work performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, including general physical and mental conditions.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and deaths, implement changes in orders as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, CPR certified yearly.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses, provide quality nursing care, and attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
