Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a per diem basis for night shifts. As an LPN, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, observing patients for any adverse changes, and providing quality nursing care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance under RN supervision.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying attending physicians of emergencies and necessary changes in orders.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as an LPN.
• Hold a valid license from the Board of Nursing in the state of employment.
• Willingness to work as a charge nurse and provide quality care to patients.
• CPR certification required yearly.
• Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
