Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services in managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems. The role involves identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and documenting actions taken to resolve issues. As part of a collaborative team, you will work with various departments to ensure timely resolution and implement preventive measures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordinate actions to resolve issues.
  • Monitor service level agreements and escalate issues for timely resolution.
  • Maintain problem inventory and progress in ServiceNow.
  • Propose process improvements and mentor team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • 1+ years of risk management or people management experience.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00, with additional incentives based on qualifications and experience.
