Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join our team at Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions in partnership with various teams. You will actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues to drive resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and resolution of assigned problems, effectively challenging root cause analysis.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met and maintain problem inventory in ServiceNow.
  • Identify process improvements and propose changes when managing the lifecycle of a problem.
  • Mentor Service Support Specialists if assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations, Project management, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • 1+ years of risk management or people management experience.

Compensation

Base pay ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00, with additional incentives based on factors such as experience and skills.
