Equipment Operator - Mechanic

Job Description

Wysocki Family Companies is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator - Mechanic for our Eagle River Seed Farm Location in Eagle River, WI. The Equipment Operator - Mechanic will provide preventative and troubleshooting maintenance support for various types of agricultural operating equipment, including crop handling equipment, trucks, semis, tractors, and harvesting equipment. This role involves operating farm equipment, contributing to various farm tasks, and ensuring efficient equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Three years or more of field/maintenance and equipment operation experience.
• Mechanic experience in troubleshooting and repairing agricultural equipment.
• Welding skills and knowledge of tools usage.
• Basic electrical and variable frequency drive experience preferred.
• Ability to utilize technology systems for maintenance.
• Driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Pesticide license within 3-6 months of hire.
