Senior Development Officer

We are looking for a Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to creating affordable housing solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director, Development, this role involves devising and implementing fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with funders, and contributing to organization-wide fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise’s mission and programs to inform fundraising strategy.
• Collaborate with program staff to develop case statements for funders.
• Create customized fundraising strategies for new and renewable funders.
• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Organize and participate in meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
• Write and submit grant proposals, reports, and stewardship documents.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
• Devise unique recognition opportunities for funders.
• Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
• Proven track record in securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Basic design skills for funder-facing materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
