Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Instructor to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting academic classes and helping students achieve educational goals and success. You will create a positive learning environment, maintain discipline, and track student progress to ensure academic growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage academic classes.
• Help students achieve educational milestones and certifications.
• Promote a positive classroom atmosphere for student motivation.
• Maintain discipline and ensure maximum learning.
• Utilize provided curriculum resources and develop educational plans.
• Prepare reports, evaluations, and maintain student records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and state teaching certification.
• Experience in teaching disadvantaged youth preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.

Physical Requirements

Frequently: Sitting, Standing, Seeing, Hearing, Speaking.

Occasionally: Walking, Bending, Stooping, Squatting, Flexibility.

Seldom: Climbing, Lifting 50 pounds, Carrying, Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling, Running, Driving.

Environmental Demands

• Ability to operate office equipment.
• Work alone occasionally, interact with team and other departments most of the time.
• Read and write at a college level.
