Press Operator Setup Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Punch Press Setup Technician to join Select Industries Corp. As a setup technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating punch press machines to produce metal parts per specifications. Your duties will include machine setup, material handling, quality control, machine operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, safety compliance, record-keeping, continuous improvement, and collaboration with team members. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, proven experience in punch press setup and operation, mechanical aptitude, proficiency in precision measuring instruments, familiarity with safety protocols, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a manufacturing environment.
