Job Description
We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses to join the VitalCore Health Strategies team at Berrien County Jail in St. Joseph, Michigan. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will deliver quality care within the scope of practice outlined by state regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Implement nursing care within the LPN's scope of practice.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized teaching plans.
- Administer medications and care for wounds.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information.
Requirements
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Active Practical Nurse license in the state of employment.
- CPR certification required.
- Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing practice.
- Demonstrated clinical competencies.
