1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in selecting and receiving stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the efficient flow of products to our stores.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise in accordance with guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments in preparation for delivery.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.

• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.

• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.

• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
