Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Comply with all company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Experience in retail environment preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
