Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join LifeBridge Health at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position offers day shift hours and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families. As a Social Worker, you will provide clinical social work services, conduct psychosocial assessments, and offer support for a variety of common issues faced by patients and families. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) with a preference for a Master's degree and LCSW-C certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling and support services to patients and families.
- Assess and address issues related to institutional living, financial concerns, family dynamics, and more.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop effective treatment plans.
- Assist with discharge planning and bereavement support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW).
- Master's degree and LCSW-C certification preferred.
- LGSW certification required.
- Experience in healthcare or clinical settings is a plus.
