Job Description
We are looking for a Renal Registered Dietitian to join Grace Medical Center, part of LifeBridge Health. As a full-time Registered Dietitian, you will provide essential services and education to dialysis patients in a clinical setting. Your role is crucial in supporting and enhancing the nutritional well-being of end-stage renal disease patients according to health policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assess nutritional status and determine appropriate interventions.
- Develop individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy plans for patients.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling tailored to patient needs.
- Monitor nutritional status, lab values, and adherence to diet.
- Collaborate with the medical team and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or similar field.
- Registered Dietitian status with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- State Licensure in Maryland.
- Minimum of two years of clinical nutrition experience.
- Prior experience in a dialysis setting is preferred.
