Job Description

American Family Insurance is seeking a Property Field Claims Adjuster to join the Claims Services team in North St. Paul, MN. As a Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in investigating and maintaining property claims, identifying complex issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Accountabilities

• Investigate origin and cause of claims by contacting relevant parties.
• Handle 1st and 3rd party claims under multiple policy types.
• Conduct on-site inspections, evaluate damages, and negotiate claims.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in claim handling and customer-driven solutions.
• Solid knowledge of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverages.

Licenses

• Valid driver's license and state-specific property casualty claims licensing.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 10% travel with catastrophe duty up to 75% as applicable.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Work in various environmental conditions.
