Job Description

We are looking to hire a talented Mid-Level Software Engineer (Direct Attack Weapons) to join our team at Boeing. In this role, you will work on the Direct Attack Weapons software group in St. Charles, MO, focusing on supporting the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) weapons program. Your responsibilities will include developing, integrating, testing, and delivering complex software solutions for precision guided munition weapon systems.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
  • Develop solutions using Ada, C#, and Python.
  • Test software and assist in system-level testing to ensure correct functionality.
  • Analyze problem reports and troubleshoot software defects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in relevant fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development using Object Oriented principles.
  • Experience in embedded real-time software development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience programming in Ada, Python, or C#.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Experience in Agile software development and professional teamwork.
