Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Manager Infection Control to join our team at Kettering Health Network. In this role, you will serve as the Infection Control Officer, overseeing the implementation of effective procedures and policies to prevent disease transmission within our facilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, developing surveillance programs, providing expert guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility-wide infection prevention and control program, adhering to national guidelines.
• Conduct routine department rounding and participate in Environment of Care Rounds.
• Provide oversight for IPC education, policy development, and implementation.
• Collaborate with various teams to maintain a sanitary facility environment and mitigate infection risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field (completed within 5 years of hire).
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience with leadership skills.
• Active Ohio Registered Nursing Licensure or equivalent.
• Certified in Infection Prevention and Control within 18 months of hire.
