Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join the team at Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and positivity in interactions with guests, team members, and external partners.
• Respond to work orders and perform routine facilities maintenance tasks.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety and maintenance needs.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscaping.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• May involve maintenance of pools, spas, and hot tubs.
• Other duties as assigned across various properties.

Requirements

• 1 year of facilities maintenance or construction experience.
• Previous hospitality experience is desirable.
• Physical ability to handle various maintenance tasks and work in different conditions.
• Flexible availability including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain company insurance.
