Job Description
Genesis Healthcare is seeking Part Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join the team at Bedford Hills for all shifts. The LPN, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), delivers efficient nursing care, evaluates patients, administers medications, and supervises unlicensed staff. Position Highlights
- Evaluate patients to collect data and observe changes in condition.
- Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
