Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Epic Sr Analyst specializing in Professional Billing to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. In this role, you will play a key part in improving healthcare outcomes by managing professional billing configuration changes, collaborating with clients, and mentoring team members. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the U.S. while taking on challenging responsibilities that contribute to healthcare technology advancements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work on Professional Billing configuration changes and builds, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
  • Mentor and provide expertise to local and client-based teams.
  • Lead Epic software upgrade initiatives and enhancements.
  • Participate in design sessions, validation, and documentation.
  • Liaise between Operations, IT, and Third-Party Systems.
  • Provide application support, on-site assistance during go-lives, and maintain software knowledge.
  • Analyze workflows, data, and technical issues related to Epic software.
  • Develop and maintain training materials for application-specific curriculum.
  • Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control.
  • Build relationships with end users, customers, and business partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Epic certification in at least one area with 2+ years of Epic experience or 5+ years of client experience.
  • 4+ years of healthcare and direct client domain knowledge.
  • Strong SME in relevant applications.
  • Experience with at least one full cycle Epic Implementation on the Professional Billing Application Team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed Epic CEE for maintaining certifications.
  • Experience in team management, communication, and proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
