1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores to ensure customer satisfaction. With a comprehensive training program and safety measures in place, you will have the necessary skills to excel in this role.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise within the warehouse following set guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect products for quality and escalate any issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 45 pounds, operating industrial equipment, and working in varying temperatures.
