Residential Designer at Drexel Building Supply
We are seeking a Residential Designer to join our team in Berlin, WI. If you have a passion for turning dreams into reality and creating sensational homes for our clients, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
About the Residential Design Role
- Develop concept floor plan layouts and exterior elevations.
- Transform concept floor plans into construction documents (Blue Prints).
- Utilize computer software for design purposes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in mathematical calculations.
- Work closely with clients to understand and incorporate their needs into designs.
- Understand roof, truss & floor loads for structural integrity.
- Provide exceptional service to clients throughout the design process.
- Meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Show attention to detail, organizational skills, and creativity.
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Assist in training and motivating team members as you progress in your role.
Your Prior Work Experience
- Experience with Revit or similar software is an advantage.
- Customer-centric background.
- History of contributing significantly to team success.
- Knowledgeable about products and services.
