General Summary
Under supervision, the Radiology Technologist performs accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of radiology. Responsibilities include acquiring patient history, ensuring patient safety during procedures, proficiently operating imaging equipment, and following radiation protection principles.
Essential Duties
- Perform high-quality diagnostic exams after patient verification.
- Monitor patients for safety during procedures.
- Effectively communicate with medical staff and peers.
- Operate imaging equipment following protocols.
- Provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- ARRT certification and BLS required.
