General Summary
Under supervision, the Radiology Technologist performs accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring patient safety and providing the best possible images for interpretation. Compliance with radiation protection principles and regulations is essential, along with following Corewell Health's Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams and document patient history.
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-BLS certifications required.
