As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, acquiring patient history, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after patient verification and physician order confirmation.
- Monitor patients during procedures to guarantee safety.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document records.
- Effectively communicate with medical staff and peers.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Stay compliant with quality assurance and control procedures.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in various diagnostic areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) certification upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
