Project Engineer - Mechanical , New Berlin, WI

Job Description

We are hiring a Project Engineer - Mechanical to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC in New Berlin, WI. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical and structural design activities related to the modification and modernization of electric overhead cranes for Region Americas.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and structural design tasks for Legacy EOT and Portal Cranes.
• Interpret customer specifications and project plans.
• Create equipment layouts, perform calculations, and generate designs.
• Develop detailed drawings and work instructions.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and budget management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with overhead electric cranes or similar industrial equipment.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Additional Information

Travel domestically and internationally up to 5% required. Knowledge of industry specifications, welding, and machining is beneficial.
