Process Engineering Manager

Job Description

Johns Manville Corp, a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family, is looking for a Process Engineering Manager to join their team in Tucson, AZ. The Process Engineering Manager will lead technical and engineering resources to align capabilities with production demand, improve processes, and ensure consistent production quality. Responsibilities include managing process improvement initiatives, project timelines, team development, and working on technical projects related to glass manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering disciplines and process improvement initiatives.
• Establish work plans for direct reports and key deliverables.
• Collaborate on R&D efforts and technical projects.
• Analyze and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Manage a team of salary employees, set direction, and deploy resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 years of industrial and technical management.
• Experience in glass manufacturing processes preferred.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, or TQM manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and travel occasionally (~10-20%).
