Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Preferred Accounts Manager to join our team at Johns Manville Corp, a leading manufacturer and marketer in the insulation and commercial roofing industry. As part of the Preferred Accounts team, you will play a crucial role in managing business development, selling efforts, and account management activities for key clients. This role requires a deep understanding of client relationships, go-to-market strategies, and collaboration with internal teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as a trusted partner for clients.
  • Identify and convert prospect accounts into new long-term clients.
  • Develop strategies to increase JM's share with existing clients.
  • Support the JM sales team by driving JM's position and preference.
  • Provide enhanced services to deliver superior customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience in business development and national account sales.
  • Ability to navigate complex selling situations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with national/regional commercial building owners.
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing competitor products.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Participation in industry associations.
