Job Description

Johns Manville Corp, a proud member of the Berkshire Hathaway family, is looking for a skilled Preferred Accounts Manager to join their Roofing Systems Preferred Accounts team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing business development, sales activities, and account management for key clients. The position requires a deep understanding of client needs, trade-specific procedures, and developing go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as a trusted partner for clients.
  • Identify and convert prospects into long-term JM Preferred Account clients.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers to increase JM's market share.
  • Support JM sales team and contractor partners to drive preference for JM products.
  • Enhance services to match client value chains and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience in business development or national account sales.
  • Travel up to 50% required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial building owners and specifiers.
  • Advanced sales techniques knowledge.
  • Expert in commercial roofing competitor products.
  • Involvement in industry associations.
