Job Description

The Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist at Flexential will play a crucial role in supporting the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer by overseeing installation projects, managing vendors, and ensuring smooth operations of physical security systems. This position involves planning, scheduling, supervising, implementing, and troubleshooting physical security technologies and assets to maintain high levels of security and effectiveness. The Specialist will be responsible for following industry standards, coordinating with various stakeholders, and optimizing physical security systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure servers, workstations, and panels for installation projects.
  • Act as the main contact for physical security installations.
  • Plan, supervise, and control security system installations.
  • Procure equipment and manage installation progress and expenses.
  • Evaluate system performance and ensure minimal malfunctions.
  • Stay updated on current standards and developments in the industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage risks.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of supervising vendors and projects.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems and relevant technologies.
  • Experience in configuring servers, workstations, and panels.
  • Proficiency in networking, switch configuration, and firewall principles.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASIS Certification.
  • Experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
  • Knowledge of network design, Genetec, and related software.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server, Visio, and CAD.
  • Ability to manage security-related software and hardware applications.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and occasional travel.
