Job Description
Match Education is seeking a dedicated Part-Time AP Biology Teacher to join the faculty for the 2024-2025 school year at our high school in Brighton, MA. As an essential member of our team, you will teach AP Biology classes, plan engaging lessons, uphold high academic standards, actively participate in professional development, and contribute positively to our school community.
Responsibilities
- Teach up to two high school AP Biology classes.
- Plan daily lessons with support from science department leadership.
- Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students.
- Participate actively in Match's coaching and professional development programs.
- Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time.
- Serve as a collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community.
Qualifications
- At least two years of full-time teaching experience in an urban education setting.
- Hold a valid teaching license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
- Belief in the potential of all students to succeed.
