Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level) to join our team at Cibola General Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education, and follow-up care to patients of all ages. You will work under the direction of the Supervisory Physician and perform a variety of critical duties to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Primary Functions

• Examine patients, record history, and adhere to proper charting protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Order tests or images, analyze results, diagnose conditions, and administer treatment.
• Promote health through patient education, preventive care, vaccinations, and minor surgical procedures.
• Report contagious diseases and deaths to relevant authorities and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Must hold a current State of New Mexico license in good standing.
• Current National Board Certification is required.
• DEA certification must be current and maintained.

Additional Qualifications

• Prior experience with electronic medical records system preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
