Job Description
We are excited to offer a paid Summer Internship/Co-op opportunity at Middle River Aerostructure Systems (MRAS), a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. As an intern at MRAS, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to various areas such as Design, Engineering, Lean Manufacturing/Production, Quality, Engineering Services, and Sourcing/Materials related to your field of study.
Essential Responsibilities
- Work on projects that require independent decision-making and may last between 2 to 6 months.
- Develop presentations to share progress and best practices.
- Analyze data using tools like Excel.
- Participate in early talent events and seminars.
- Perform assignments with accuracy and trustworthiness.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a degree program leading to a bachelor's or technical degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Completed one full year of college (rising Sophomore).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green card holder.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 24 credit hours towards a technical or engineering degree.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
