Job Description

We are looking for a Manager in Training to join Aldi's team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of successfully managing a store. Your responsibilities will include supervising day-to-day store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff schedules, and developing operational plans while nurturing and mentoring the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily store activities to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Implement company strategies and core values to foster teamwork among employees.
  • Manage customer concerns and ensure their resolution.
  • Maintain store signage and product quality.
  • Participate in the hiring process and manage staff schedules.
  • Communicate job expectations and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Oversee inventory management and product merchandising.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of management principles and budgeting.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Management experience preferred.
