Generator Field Service Technician Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems ranging from 8kW to 1mW.
- Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing, and start-ups on generators.
- Prepare accurate quotes for repairs, complete work orders, and ensure timely submissions.
- Prior experience working on residential or industrial generators is preferred.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Participate in an on-call, rotating schedule to support service needs.
- Provide and maintain personal tools, such as a multi-meter and hand-tools.
- Possess a strong focus on safety, including holding an OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Hold a valid DOT card and driver's license.
