Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will directly impact the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts as per guidelines and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality.
- Carry out other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Capable of operating cash registers and store equipment.
- Able to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Diligent, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Educational background combined with relevant experience is acceptable.
