Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate closely with the Aldi team and deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and potential improvements.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and friendly customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register.
- Safe operation of equipment including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and handle multiple tasks professionally.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
